Click this link to see "What can go in your Mixed Recycling?" Feel free to print this and post it near your household or work garbage cans and double check the items before you toss them in the trash and make sure they are not recyclable in our County. We can now put all plastics marked 1 through 7 in our mixed recyclables. This is big news, as it includes styrofoam products, like cups, clam shell containers, egg cartons, which are normally marked with a number 6. As well as lots of other plastics, like yogurt cups, margarine and cottage cheese containers.
Talk to your friends, co-workers and neighbors, please share this website and recycling information to help get the word out. Thank you.
